Who is Careersy Coaching for?
Tech professionals across Australia and New Zealand: engineering, data, product, design, delivery and leadership, and people moving into tech from adjacent fields.
Do I need to be working in tech already?
No. Many clients are switching into tech, or coming from academia, consulting or product.
How do I know which option is right for me?
Read the 1:1 Coaching page, then book the free 15-Minute Career Decision Review. We work out which level fits, if any.
Do you work with people outside Australia and New Zealand?
Yes. The coaching is built for the ANZ market, so it suits people already here and people planning a move here.
Can I email or message Eli?
Yes. Email [email protected] or message on LinkedIn. Coaching clients also have Slack.
What if I do not receive an email from you?
Check your spam and promotions folders first. If it is still missing, email [email protected] and we will resend it.
What is your refund policy?

1:1 Coaching
What is the difference between the packages?
On-Demand is one 60-minute session on one problem, A$499. Starter is 4 live hours over several weeks with CV, LinkedIn and interview work, A$1,800. Premium is 6 live hours, with technical mock interviews run by a Principal Software Engineer, introductions where they fit, and a weekly check-in while you are actively hunting, A$2,979. Prices exclude GST. Compare them here.
Do I need to book a call before buying?
No. You can buy directly from the 1:1 Coaching page. If you are unsure which fits, book the call.
What is included?
Live sessions with Eli, a live read of your CV and the recruiter search on the first call, a written plan, your private coaching hub in Notion, six months of Slack aftercare on Starter and Premium, and your first month of Careersy AI.
How are sessions delivered?
Video calls, booked through your coaching portal. Between sessions we work in Slack.
How quickly can I start?
As soon as you have paid you get portal access and the pre-work. The first session is usually within a week, subject to availability.
What if I need to reschedule?
Through your portal, with at least 24 hours' notice.
Can I move between packages later?
Yes. Buy Starter or Premium within 30 days of an On-Demand session and the full A$499 is credited. To move from Starter to Premium, email Eli.
What can you honestly promise?
A clearer read on where you stand, a plan you understand, and practice on the parts that matter. I cannot promise a role, a salary or a timeframe. Hiring decisions are made by employers.
Can I get help after the sessions are done?
Starter and Premium include six months of Slack aftercare: send drafts, questions and updates and get comments. On-Demand clients can book another session.
Can I use the sessions for salary negotiation or a leadership move?
Yes. Premium includes two hours you steer, for a career roadmap, a leadership move or a negotiation. On-Demand can be spent on one of these.
Can I use the sessions to prepare for an internal promotion?
Yes. Internal moves, performance reviews and first leadership roles are common reasons people book.
Are sessions recorded?
Only if you agree at the time. When you do, the recording and a summary go into your coaching hub.

Does a Careersy AI subscription include sessions with Eli?
No. Every coaching package includes a free month of Careersy AI, activated automatically when you buy. A subscription on its own does not include coaching.
